EDG3 Body Detox Drink: Body Cleanser with Glutathione

Review: Body Cleanse with EDG3 Detox Drink

EDG3 Body Detox Drink: Ultimate Body Cleanser with GlutathioneI like clean eating and all, but I would still take up any opportunity that gives me a chance to do a little bit of a body detox. This time round it was EDG3 body detox drink, which comes in a powdery form that you have to mix with water; then bottoms up.

Although I did the detox a couple of weeks ago, I thought it would be good to share this master body detox drink during this time – Ramadan. Why? Because it’s one occasion that calls for feasting on a lot of delicious albeit heavy foods that make it hard for anyone to resist the wonderful Iftar and Suhoor spreads regardless if you are fasting or not.

Heavy foods, as most of us know, are rich in saturated oils and fats, and consuming large portions of these can take a toll on our body. Every day, our body deals with various wastes including toxic chemicals, air pollutants, food additives, and much more. Our liver then filters the blood to separate the good nutrients from the bad.

Glutathione the Master Antioxidant

Glutathione, often called ‘the master antioxidant’, is the liver’s primary detoxifier. And EDG3 does just that! The glutathione produced when you consume the EDG3 body detox drink is supposed to make sure that every cell in your body is protected from the harmful free radicals.

Taste of EDG3 Body Detox Drink

The package, which is golden in color, contains several sachets of the powder, each to be used once a day. The EDG3 powder is pleasant-tasting, with subtle flavors of mixed berries. The best thing is that it’s not sweet. So if you don’t have a sweet tooth, then you will definitely like it.

How To Prepare

If you are an adult, instructions insist that you mix one sachet daily with approximately 120 ml of water, stir well, and consume immediately. And if you are a child (I assume you are not but just in case), consume half a sachet. By child, I mean anyone who is 12 years or older. And if you want to add a bit of taste to your EDG3 body detox drink, you can mix with your favorite fruit juice.

Results after 2 Weeks

Although you are told that you will (might) start seeing results after about 4 weeks of religious consumption of the EDG3 body detox drink, I must say my skin became soft, smooth and a bit glowy (well, the glowy part might be because I am in love… with myself). This was after 2 weeks. But I am pretty sure there are better results if you drink up for longer. I took mine every morning on an empty stomach, so that might play a role as well.

Why Glutathione is Important

Glutathione is the perfect catalyst for the detox process as it binds toxins and eliminates them from the body efficiently. Munching recklessly, as we all do at times, puts a strain on the liver and the body as a whole. And although glutathione is produced naturally in our bodies, a lot of factors contribute to its depletion ranging from weak immune systems and hectic lifestyles to age factors.

Regular consumption of EDG3 body detox drink, according to Wong Siew Wei, a nutritionist at QNET (the folks who supply this product), can fortify your body with the right building blocks and helps it to produce the much-needed glutathione. Also, the delivery system of EDG3 body detox drink ensures that the body receives all three essential amino acids needed to produce glutathione.

Like I always insist, what works for me might not work for you because our bodies and lifestyles are different. So, if you plan on trying out EDG3 body detox drink, don’t expect miracles. Maybe it will work better for you or not. You never know until you try it.
