Turkish Cuisine at The Mahal Restaurant Dubai offers Culinary Art at Its Best

Explore the Diversity of Turkish Cuisine at “the District” in Dubai

Turkish Cuisine at The Mahal Restaurant DubaiI don’t think I ever posted anything on Turkish Cuisine, that’s why I had to share with you this new Turkish cuisine spot in the heart of Dubai. The Mahal restaurant Dubai, which basically means a district in Turkish, is a new and enticing eatery that is exploring the rich culinary diversity of Turkish cuisine.

Mahal is in Dragon Mart 2, which is a tranquil urban hideaway (for those who’ve never been there). The Mahal restaurant is sort of a new chapter for owner Bora Meral, who’s already had growing success in the culinary business across Turkey and the US.

Concept Behind The Mahal Restaurant Dubai and its Signature Turkish Cuisine

The original concept behind The Mahal Restaurant Dubai was simply derived from his vision to bring genuine and authentic Turkish cuisine that is of good value to the competitive Dubai dining scene. The Mahal is, to put it in a nutshell, a vibrant venue that is designed to bring the true pleasure of Turkish culinary art to the local but diverse community of the Emirate.

The ambiance at The Mahal

Turkish Cuisine at The Mahal Restaurant DubaiThe Restaurant has what I’d call an uplifting and modern interior. The ceilings are high, which creates an open and relaxed dining space, making it familiar but unique. The design integrates modern elements with historical and cultural details. It simply translates traditional Turkish architecture into a contemporary style. There’s also a colossal mirror right at the center of the setting, which gives the illusion of additional room in the already spacious dining area.

Just as you enter the restaurant, you will be greeted with a fresh display counter, which will tantalize your taste buds with its succulent selection of some fine cuts of meat, which are freshly made to order. An additional retail section offers refreshing Turkish Tea, original Turkish coffee (amazing) and some delights for taking away, that’s if you prefer to indulge in the comforts of your own home with family or friends or both together.

The Mahal Restaurant Dubai Menu

Turkish Cuisine at The Mahal Restaurant DubaiNotable items on the delectable Turkish cuisine menu include Çöp Şiş, a luscious and tender beef skewer; the all-time classic Iskender Doner; Kofta with Cheese – juicy meatballs with a core of melting cheddar; and an array of various lamb dishes.

Central to the Turkish food offering is the bakery station together with its oven, where the crispiest flatbread, Baklava, and Kunefe are freshly baked. Another highlight from the exquisite menu is the skillfully prepared one meter long Pide. This is a traditional pastry from the Central Anatolian Region of the country, which is available in many variations ranging from minced meat, cheese, spinach and whatever else tickles your fancy.
