Baroncelli Prisma -  A sparkling Play of Prisms Enhanced by 51 Diamonds

Spotlight: Mido’s Baroncelli Prisma

Baroncelli Prisma -  A sparkling Play of Prisms Enhanced by 51 DiamondsIn today’s spotlight post I’m focusing on the new addition to watchmaker Mido’s flagship collection, the Baroncelli Prisma, which happens to be the epitome of femininity. The center of the round-grained silver dial reveals a creation of 25 pieces of white mother-of-pearl, which they say, have been applied individually by hand (talk about personal touch). And to make it more enchanting, this extraordinary play of prisms is enhanced by sparkly 51 diamonds that trace its outline. Beneath these delicate aesthetic details, the Baroncelli Prisma also houses a latest-generation automatic movement: the Calibre 80, which provides up to 80 hours of power reserve.

Special Tribute to Rennes Opera House

The sophisticated forms of the Baroncelli Prisma collection pay tribute to the timeless elegance of the Rennes Opera House. The building, so you know, is an operatic landmark characterized by a distinctive rounded architecture. The harmonious lines and subtle curves, typical of the neoclassical tradition, are what makes it an outstanding monument.

Blending Tradition with Modernity the Baroncelli Prisma Way

With the Baroncelli Prisma, Mido introduces a timepiece that gleams with iridescent femininity and blends tradition with modernity. A contemporary reinterpretation of a classic jewelry creation, this timepiece features an elegant round case measuring 33 mm in diameter.

In addition to the 25 pieces of pearls and the 51 diamonds, there is also a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment on both sides, which protects the dial and enables the finely crafted ‘hands of time’ to be admired.

The hour and minute hands are double-sided (one side sandblasted, the other diamond-cut), while the seconds’ hand is rounded diamond-cut. The window at 6 o’clock, meanwhile, displays the date. And just in case you have some change to spare, you can get this Baroncelli Prisma timepiece at Rivoli stores across the UAE for AED 4,125 (USD 1,122).
