The Continuous Rise of Laser Hair Removal for Men

the Continuous rise of laser hair removal for menMen nowadays are becoming more conscious about their looks and are soon catching up with their female counterparts. Laser hair removal for men has now become a grooming routine, and by this, I don’t mean shaving their beard, but other body parts like the chest, legs, hands, back, armpits and even the bikini area.

It might sound a bit strange but men also want that smooth and silky skin that is brought about by laser hair removal. I have seen men visiting a skin clinic for this procedure, and when it comes to hair removal, shyness can never stand in the way towards a hairless back. This increased interest is part of a wider rise of cosmetic surgery for men.

Basically, there are a number of reasons why one would like to undergo laser hair removal for men, but that’s their secret I guess. The one person I asked about it simply said its part of his grooming, and laser is way better than shaving or waxing. For your information, he uses the procedure for his beard, which is always on point.

I did a bit of digging to find out why a man would choose laser hair removal, which is a cosmetic treatment, instead of simply shaving in the privacy of his own space; and this is what I found out.

Laser Hair Removal for Men is a Painless procedure

The most important reason to choose laser hair removal is that the procedure is painless. And a man can achieve a more groomed look painlessly regardless of the body part. Some people think men have a higher pain threshold, but given a choice between having hair hanging from their backs and more painful ways of hair removal, they would rather walk around looking like a man-Chihuahua.

Smooth Skin All the Way

Smooth silky skin is another reason. Laser hair removal leaves the skin feeling smooth like a baby’s bum (well that’s a stretch but you get my point). No bumps or itching or scars or whatever. If done by a qualified laser technician, silky, smooth and beautiful skin is all you.

Laser Hair Removal for Men has Zero Side-effects

When a man chooses a treatment that is touted to be a lunch hour procedure, downtime should not be mentioned because it is non-existent when it comes to laser hair removal. The treatment has zero downtime that’s why it is perfect for busy men (well most men pretend to be busy anyway). After the treatment, the only thing he will feel afterward is smoothness and freshness. That’s all.

The Procedure is Super Fast

Speaking of being busy, laser hair removal as a procedure is very fast. As long as you keep your appointment, depending on how big the area to be smoothed is, you can be out of there in less than 10 minutes and get to your ‘important’ meeting!

Permanent Reduction of Hair

Finally, laser hair removal permanently reduces hair! This means that with every session, the hair takes longer to grow back, and whatever grows back is very fine, to a point where it will take months before you go back for another session. Just make sure, as usual, the treatment is done by a qualified laser therapist with ample experience. For you to achieve permanent reduction of hair, you will need to have a number of sessions, which start at once every month, then followed by once every 8 weeks, and the rest is history.

I am a fan of laser hair removal for my armpits and I concur with all these points. Hell, my last session was about three and a half months ago and my pits are still smooth and hairless! What more could I ask for?
